LIGASANO® Omega-pad

The LIGASANO® Omega-pad (DBGM) made of LIGASANO® orange is a real innovation developed hand in hand with users.

The initial topic was abdominal positioning in intensive care. In order to keep the face and neck away from the lying surface, a cushion is needed that makes this possible. Such pads are available in various designs and sizes.

New on the LIGASANO® Omega-pad is,

  • that it is similar to glasses, just worn only on the forehead
  • that it fits almost all head sizes and shapes and that the head can be positioned sideways as well as face down
  • that it is 5-fold height-adjustable in 1cm steps
  • that LIGASANO® white is used as a dressing layer in the contact area with the forehead. Wounds in the forehead area can also be treated or even better avoided.
  • The use of LIGASANO® orange in combination with LIGASANO® white counteracts heat and moisture accumulation in the contact area, which is far more than an improvement in comfort.
